My Story 

Nobody knows where this beautiful  journey is taking us and often our destination can be unclear but I trust and have faith and know I am where I am meant to be right now.

I often get asked how I started reading runes and to be honest I feel it was a path that I was meant to follow. I found my Egyptian Rune Stones quite a few years ago in an op shop (thrift store) and I felt drawn to them even though at that stage I didn’t really know what they were.

I have never been into tarot or runes and had almost no knowledge about them. Although I am an extremely spiritual person my life has always focused on academics and work often with a strong focus on the sciences. I have degrees in Adult Education and Psychology and have worked in areas such as Oil & Gas and Medical Education. But I couldn't deny how strongly I felt drawn to this small pouch full of stones. So I bought them home and started doing research.

It's easy to see in hindsight how I was being guided and being pushed towards Egyptian Heka, magic and healing, for some time though. Although I wasn't seeking it out, friends gave me several gifts over the years that pertain to Egypt and Egyptian Gods. I still however had no knowledge or understanding of hieroglyphs and there was no instructions and no key to the meanings of the hieroglyphs on the runes. I spent several months looking into hieroglyphs, researching them, and trying to find their meaning. It was long and arduous but rewarding and fulfilling and I eventually worked them all out.

I found very quickly when I started to draw them for my self and for others that they were so accurate it was scary. I pulled back a bit as I honestly didn’t feel comfortable. It's funny because all my life I have been intuitive and had 'knowing' and just accepted it as a part of who I was. A few years ago I was even able to put a name to it and learnt it was called Claircognisance. However I had still always held strongly to logic and reason and don't personally believe the future is mine to know. So I did nothing with my Egyptian Runes for over a year. They just sat their calling to me and I just went about my daily life ignoring them.

Fast forward a couple of years and pull to use them was getting too strong to ignore. As I am generally always enrolled in some university study I had access to academic journals and so I started delving into research on Ancient Egyptians and their oracles. I found that it was much more common for Ancient Egyptians to use oracles for assisting them with present situations than for future telling. Everything fell into place and I knew what I should be doing. I picked up the Egyptian Runes and started reading present situations. 

I started again with friends and family but soon I also started doing readings for people I didn't know online and again was blown away by how accurate they were. I learnt to trust my intuition even more and to understand that my role is to help draw your focus to what the universe wants you to be focusing on so that you can move further along your path to where you are meant to be.
